Very well put. I remember this from when mine were young, and now this is a normal sight when I walk into my son and daughter-in-law's house. They are expecting their seventh. I love the way you said it.
Funny how I would have cared.. and probably jumped up and scolded my first child. But this baby is actually quite coordinated to be able to get up on the table like that. I knew he'd be safe :) and there were no candles burning or anything!
Oh I have so many moments like that! I mean, ok, my 10 month old is pulling all the dirty clothes out of the hamper, but I actually don't mind that so much anymore if it means I can quickly load the dishwasher before she crawls over to "help". I think often it's just deciding which is the lesser of two "evils" :-) I love your blog and read it often, I'm just not a very diligent "commenter". Thank you!
I can SO relate!
ReplyDeleteI can relate! And I liked your facebook page!
