Why does it always seem that Sunday is my most stressful day? Seriously. I mean it. I know I shouldn't feel that way, but every Sunday I think that. I've remarked that point to other moms too and they hushedly agree.
OH, it is stressful! I think for the most part I have accepted that though. It took me SEVERAL kids before I realized that I needed to change my mindset... No longer was sunday to be a day of rest and receiving for me! (at least, not at church...maybe in the afternoon!)
Nope, it was a day for the running shoes and child training; even in the pew. So now I go with no plans to 'rest' during church (and try not to resent the people who get to!)
If I do actually get to hear something during church, it's a surprising bonus... and if I don't lose my cool in public, that's awesome too. :)
I remember those days!

Blessings to all of us who accomplish this with our husbands across the room from us...
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel like we should get a trophy or something after church. (For me, especially if I have any patience left by the end of service!)
DeleteBut I guess we do get to count it as a workout. And maybe, grace upon grace, someone heard something. :)
